Can berries prevent diabetes? A research finds out the answer! In the research, compared with the group of lowest intake of berries, the group of high intake lowers the risk of type2 diabetes by 18%.
The researchers say theirs was the first study to look at the links between anthocyanin and berry intake with diabetes risk. For berry intake, researchers used 5 studies including just over 194,000 participants and 13,013 cases of type 2 diabetes.
Why berries is helpful to reduce the risk to develop diabetes?
